Individual must demonstrate attention to detail, thorough knowledge of truck safety, dedication to exceptional customer service, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete daily vehicle inspection reports
- Perform minor truck repairs and/or prepare work orders
- Deliver and off load materials in a safe and timely manner
- Confirm delivery details and customer contact for each delivery
- Establish positive working relationships with customers
- Operate vehicles in safe manner while adhering to safety policies and procedures
- Comply with all health and safety procedures/policies as per company manual
- Participate in loading customers in the yard or other labour duties are required
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Valid Class 3 driver's license
- Strong knowledge for truck and equipment safety
- Knowledge of City of Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Neat appearance and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
